There truly is no place like home! Summer is upon us and we have been blessed with some much needed rain. On top of the 35.5mm for October, another 85mm was recorded for November so far!
The past few months have delivered some great sightings again; Cheetah, Lion, Leopards, Wild dogs, big herds of Buffalo, newborn Impala lambs and Wildebeest calves and so much more. Best, of course, is our brand new Klipspringer lamb in camp, born Thursday 19 November! Never a dull moment in this magical paradise we get to call 'home'.
Only 3 cases of malaria have been recorded in Hoedspruit since September. We encourage you to take the necessary precautions while visiting.

Local truly is "lekker"
When planning a trip to Hoedspruit, make the most of it by enjoying a great meal with great friends and supporting the local restaurants. One of the latest additions to the area is The Farmery (situated behind Campfire Properties on the R527). The deli is stocked with fresh fruit and veg, sourced from local farmers. The Brewery (Bosveld Centre, R40) has some fantastic burgers, gourmet dogs and wood-fired sourdough pizza. Order pre-baked pizza bases from them for your pizza evening at N'tsiri, and pop in at Craft next door. The Hoedspruit Cafe's (Kamogelo Centre) homemade pies are fantastic.
Woolworths Taste Magazine will be featuring Hoedspruit eateries in the Jan/Feb edition, make sure you get your copy for future reference!
